Richie's Wedding

At the end of September we went to Boise to see Chris and Heidi get married. It was a great Gonzaga reunion weekend. The wedding reception was beautiful!

Hillcrest Football

We spent many a Friday nights sitting at Thunder Stadium cheering on Ty's Hillcrest football team play. Oh and it was not cold at all!!!!

Eastern Idaho Fair

At the beginning of September we went to fair to have some fair food and play some games! Brian won a big bear for Erin. Some of the boys tried to ride a bike that was wired backwards but it was much harder than it looked!
The boys unloaded a taffy machine and earned us some free homemade taffy!

Elephant ear...yummmm!

Hank and Rachel Visit

At the end of August my brother, Hank, and sister-in-law, Rachel, came to visit for a week. It was sooooo much fun and I was so happy that they made it down. It was the first time we had ever gotten to spend time just the four of us and we had a blast! We went walking around the river, went to a Chuckar's game, had some drinks at Vino Rosa, hung out, went on a beautiful hike around Phelps Lake and up to Death Canyon in Jackson, Wyoming (yes if you ever hear "death" in the name of your hike be scared...it kicked my butt!). We also went to Grease the musical and shopped a little in Jackson. We had a ton of fun, rest, and family time! Thanks for coming down! We love you so much! The Chuckars Game

Jake's 26th Surprise Birthday Party

We had so much fun throwing Jake a surprise party! Well... I will say he is very hard to throw a surprise party for since he is such a planner himself but I managed to pull it off! We had lots of fun with friends and family. All of us went in and got him the Wii and many accessories to go with it. It has been a hit! Happy 26th birthday my love!
Me, Kels, and Erin sit for minute before this big surprise!

Long Time Coming!

Well yes it has been about 4 months since I posted but since my goal was to make this into a scrapbook at the end of the year... I better get a move on it! Since all of my free moments on the computer have been dedicated to my masters, I am very excited to have five more days off of paper writing and book reading! So here it goes....

Friends Christmas Party

In the middle of December we had a fun party with many of our friends. We started out by making gingerbread houses, then we ate some prime rib, opened presents, went on a drive to see Christmas lights, and ended the night with dessert and games!

Cheers!

Carrot Cake and Game Night

Ok so if you love (or even like) carrot cake you will have to make this one. It is on the food blog that I have a link to on the right of this blog. It is absolutely to die for and I can not even wait to have a reason so make it again! I seriously dream of this cake! Ok enough about the cake and on to game night. We had a fun and intense game of Monopoly a few weeks ago. I have to say it was the very first game of Monopoly I had ever played all the way to the end. It was very intense yet fun at the same time! Jake , Chase, Brian, and I had a long night of fun games when it was all said and done! Yes here is the glorious carrot cake!

The boys early on in the everlasting game.

Then we all ate pizza, watched a movie, and played kick the can when it was dark out! It was a good time all around! Belle and I with our High School Musical Cups!
