Susan's Birthday

For Susan's birthday we went to Cafe Rio and Sundae Treats. Sus's favorite thing is chocolate chip ice cream with fudge and a firm banana! She got just that!!! Love you Sus!

Ririe Reservoir

This summer we discovered the Blacktail end of the Ririe Reservoir. We spent a few weekends out there laying in the sun, floating on the island, and barbecuing. We now refer to it as "The Lake" since it is so beautiful.

Bachelorette Mondays

So every Monday night Aunt Rachel comes over and we watch the bachelor or bachelorette or anything on TV that gives us an excuse to get together and catch up! Kels joins us sometimes and other friends. But there is always plenty of champagne and strawberries to go around.

Drive-In Movies!

In July we went the Toy Story 3 at the drive in movies. It is so much fun to get lots of pillows, blankets, a good snack, cuddle up, and watch a movie! We went with Ty and Kels and had lots of fun!

Camping at Island Park

In mid July Jake and I went camping in Island Park with Ty and Kels. We had a great and relaxing time despite the several rain showers. Ty and I started the weekend with a great hike around a beautiful lake. We found two fence posts that looked like they were getting married! Then Jake and Kels came up after work. At one point Jake had on half dress and half camping clothes...just like his life! There were many games played: cribbage (including the closest game we had ever played), catan, baseball, wood chopping, and skipo. We had a great time on the lake on the island and just enjoying the views. Of course we roasted huge marshmallows and sang with Campfire Dave around the fire. The boys even went crawdad fishing with bacon tied onto strings...must be a boy thing Kels and I didn't get it. There was fun had by all!

Fourth of July

The 4th of July was a blast!!! We have lots of friends and fun! Dusty and Lance came to represent the Malta crew and Kyle and Teran came down from Butte. We started out the weekend with an Iron Chef Competition. It was Kels and I versus Jake and Brian. We had $75 to spend, 1 hour to shop, 2 hours to cook, and an appetizer, main dish, side dish, and dessert to prepare for the judges and guests. It was so much fun and everyone made great food. There were about a million dishes at the end but it was all worth it! Ty and Erin were the hosts and Lance was the camera guy! Then it was on to the river for the whole Saturday with plenty of games, food, and fireworks. On Sunday we went to the lake to float on the island raft, then to the Chuckars baseball game, and then to Brian and Erins for some smoked ribs in Brian's new smoker. On Monday everyone cleaned up, packed up, and rested. It was so much to have everyone down! We love the 4th down here!
