Meggan's Bachelorette Party

Over memorial day weekend I went to Portland for my friend Meggan's bachelorette party. We had so much fun with dinner at Urban Fondu, a once in a life time experience at a drag show, and then dancing and karaoke at some downtown bars. The theme was pink, Meggan's favorite color, and it was so much fun to celebrate her upcoming wedding!

Kellen Turns 3!

On May 21st Kenny and Kellen had their birthdays. We were so happy we were able to share in the celebration in Helena. Kellen had a toy story party for his third birthday. He was joined by the Otteson triplets who enjoyed helping him open his presents and eat his cake!

May Weekend

So the weather finally turned nice and after 8 months of cold and snow we were all ready to get outside! We started the weekend with hanging out at the park with Scott and Sus. Then we golfed the par 3 course. To end the Saturday we went out to dinner at Texas Road House where David and Jaime met up with us. On Sunday we hiked to the Lower Palisades Lake with Brian and Erin. It was so beautiful and a great way to get ready for the summer.

Mom Works Her Magic

So my mom is an amazing sewer. I have grown up very spoiled because I always get to create my home decor from scratch. We shopped for the fabric together, we planned out the look, and then before I knew it she had whipped it up and there was a beautiful bed! At the end of April my mom came to see the new house and helped me decorate my office/2nd guest bedroom. It turned out so perfect and was just what I wanted. Thanks Mom!

Abigail Grace

Oh April 17th precious little Abigail Grace was born to Aaron and Jill Phillips. They are such a cute family and we are so blessed to have their friendship.

Easter with the Murrays

Well I am back to the blogging! I took a little break while catching up on some other scrapbook projects! I will start where I left off with Easter in the beginning of April. We had a great time breaking in the new house with more bedrooms and space. Colleen, Kelly, Lissa, Potential Chris, Kenny, Diedra, and Kellen all came for the long weekend. We had a blast with playing lots of skipo, playing ping pong (or "pong" as Kellen called it), playing with stuffed animals, eating, and just catching up. Lissa got Kellen a tractor that was a huge hit! The Easter Bunny came and left everyone lots of treats. We had a great mass to celebrate the resurection of Jesus and finished off the day with a wonderful ham dinner.

New House!!!!

So here are pictures of our new house. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs with an unfinished basement. One bedroom is our master bedroom with my favorite part of the house....a huge walk in closet! The second bedroom is a guest bedroom and the third is my office and another guest bed. We have been loving living here so far. Next step is to put in a yard!!! There is still lots to be done but we are happy with just being in our home. I have learned a lot through this whole experience. Here are a few things I have learned: 1) giving up worrying for lent was very helpful because I worried much less as we took on the huge project of moving, 2) setting the microwave clock can take more than a college degree...it took me four days to figure out...I finally figured out the whole seven step process...no joke it was seven steps 3) no matter how organized you are...on moving day it will be chaos anyway...side note...thank you SOOOOO much to everyone that helped we were so blessed! 4) who knew having a 19 min longer commute to work (it used to be 1 min) would be enjoyable...I actually have time to collect my thoughts before the beginning of the day! That is all I can think of for now but I am sure I will add more later!
