Fun in the Sun!

This past week Jake and I flew down to Arizona to spend spring break with his family! We started the trip with Jake's sister, Melissa, and her boyfriend, Chris. We had a great time laying in the sun, shopping, eating at great restaurants, and just enjoying our family. Chris's best friend Steve and his wife Karen were there at the same time. It was fun to meet them. We also got to spend time with Jake's Aunt Kelly, Uncle Scott, and two adorable cousins Makena and Macyn. Makena is in first grade and is an awesome reader! She has two boyfriends and loves school! Macyn is in preschool and just a doll. She has learned how to write her name and sings many songs! On Tuesday we drove to Fountain Hills to visit Jake's Aunt Rachel, Uncle Rob, and two cousins Remi and Belle. We had a blast there with hiking, swimming, tanning, watching Remi's first baseball game, and just catching up! Belle is quite the crafter and is going to sell her pearler beads and knitting projects at a craft sale soon! I was also able to see one of my closest friends, Meggan. We went out to sushi and it was so great to catch up! Thanks everyone for a great time!

Little Ones

Last night we had the Gallant and Westlund families over for dinner. Pete and Dana Gallant have little Jonas who is about 17 months old and he is a busy boy. He was so cute looking around and discovering a new place. We had some pizza and played games. McKade Westlund is almost 3 months old and he had been with the boys all day while Jaime and I crafted so he needed a long nap to catch up on his sleep! He had some new 3 month car PJs on!

Monday Night Volleyball

Most Monday nights during the fall and winter you can find Jake out on the volleyball court in his co-ed volleyball league. He plays with David, Jaime, and Susan. We met David and Jaime during co-ed volleyball the first fall we were in Idaho Falls. They have lots of fun but I think I get the best deal because I get to watch little McKade (David and Jaime's son)!

Sunday Dinners

Most Sunday nights the Bemis, Salsbery, and Murray families get together for dinner. We rotate whos house it is at and the 4th Sunday is out to dinner! We always have so much fun together and it is a great end to each weekend. Here are some pictures from the last Sunday dinner at our house.

Girls Night

Sushi, shopping, chick flick, Leatherbees (ice cream), and best friends...what more do you need in life??? On Saturday March 7th Kelsey, Susan, and I went to Blue Hashi for some amazing sushi. Then we went to Old Navy for a little shopping. After that we went to see the movie Confession on a Shopaholic (it was so cute!). We finished off the night with fabulous ice cream sundaes at Leatherbees.

A little shopping! We didn't do too much damage!

A sundae to share!
Susan's Order: "I would like a hot fudge banana sundae. But I only want the bananas if they are a little green and still firm otherwise I do not want them and I would like the hot fudge on the side." We love you Sus!

VIP Event

This Wednesday night, March 4th, we were so wonderfully invited to the Museum of Idaho's VIP black tie event. Kelsey is the marketing director for the Museum of Idaho and put hundreds of hours into planning this gorgeous event. It was for the opening of the Titanic exhibit and to honor the sponsors of the museum. We had so much fun from seeing the amazing exhibit, to the great food (the buns were to die for!), to the music, to the great program that Kelsey put on it was all a blast. Here are some pictures. Thanks Kels! Fabulous job!
