Road Trip To California

Right after school got out in the beginning of June the Bemis (Scott and Susan), Salsbery (Ty and Kels), and Murray (Jake and I) couples started on a road trip to Southern California where Scott and Susan are from. We started the drive at 6 am on Saturday morning and ended the day in Las Vegas. We ate at a great Italian restaurant and walked the strip. The next morning we went to M&M world and then headed out to Corona Del Mar, CA. The next day it was time for...DISNEYLAND!!!! We went to the park early and stayed until midnight! We ate lunch at Club 33 and rode many rides. I got to have my picture taken with Winnie-the-Pooh and watch a fireworks show in front of the castle. Jake was so sweet and ran all over the park all day with me to fit everything in. The middle of the week was filled with shopping, visiting Scott and Susan's family, and eating at fun restaurants. On Thursday we drove to Bass Lake where we stayed with Bill and Trudie. We had so much fun relaxing on the beach, going on boat rides, and playing games. On Sunday it was time to pack up and make the 14 hour drive home. It was so much fun and we made lots of memories!

Camping on Memorial Day

During Memorial Day weekend we went camping with Brian, Ty, and Kels in Island Park. It is only about an hour away from Idaho Falls and is so beautiful. We had a great time fishing, floating on our new party raft, playing games, cooking, hiking, and relaxing. Brian caught a fish early Saturday morning. Jake played his new harmonica and widdled away! Our weekend was cut a little short due to rainy weather but we will definitely be back!

Hank Graduates from Medical School

So yes...it has been a long time since I have blogged! Life got a little bit crazy but today I hope to catch you up on the last three months and then keep you updated more often! So I left off in May when Jake and I flew to St. Louis for my brother's graduation from St. Louis University Medical School. On May 14th he walked in his cap and gown and brought the whole family to tears. He went through so much hard work to get to that day! We are all so proud of him. He is now starting his family medicine residency at the University of Washington in Seattle.
While we were in St. Louis we ate at many fabulous restaurants, toured the Anheuser Busch factory, stood under the arch downtown, went to a Cardinals game, and took many beautiful walks through Hyde Park.
